Avengers: Endgame was the end of the arc of some of the original Avengers, including Captain America, who at the end of the film decided to go back in time to return the Infinity Stones and stay there to have the life he always wanted next to Peggy Carter. In order to undo Thanos’ snap and bring back the vanished heroes (and the rest of the population of the universe), Avengers: Endgame used time-travel, with its own complicated rules that only made Captain America’s decision more confusing than emotional....

Arrow season 6 gets a brand new promo teasing fans of the major changes that the show will roll out for its upcoming outing. We already know that by the end of the show’s fifth outing, the long-running narrative of Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) lost years on the island of Lian Yu has already wrapped up, giving the show an opportunity to deviate itself from the past and develop new story arcs moving forward....

There wasn’t much in terms of entertainment in the 9th Century. Their music was limited, half of them couldn’t even read and their food was so-so, leaving them one thing to do. Fight. (Unless there’s something else being overlooked?) At least, that’s what we’re led to think if we’re to believe what takes place in The Last Kingdom is at all accurate. If that’s at all an accurate representation, it really is stunning Britains once had the largest empire in the world....

Corey Hawkins, one of the stars of Kong: Skull Island, has expressed interest in returning to future films in Warner Bros. & Legendary Entertainment’s MonsterVerse. Released in 2017, Kong: Skull Island is the second installment in the MonsterVerse, preceded by 2014’s Godzilla. This year saw the release of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which introduced Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah into the shared universe. The next film, Godzilla vs. Kong, was originally due out March 2020 but has been delayed to November....

The European Commission has today approved Apple’s acquisition of Beats Electronics and Beats Music. The commission said that the buyout passes merger regulations. The commission concluded that Apple and Beats’ combined marketshare in both the streaming music and headphones markets is low, so an acquisition did not materially affect competition. In headphones, the EU says that Apple/Beats exists in a global market with numerous other brands, including Bose, Sennheiser and Sony....

We may know some details on the scene Tom Holland’s Peter Parker may show up in for Venom. Sony’s Venom, set to open October 5, marks the company’s first foray back into the world of Spider-Man since 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and since their agreement with Marvel Studios allowed Peter Parker and company to play in the larger sandbox of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Facebook has announced Screen Time style tools to help people monitor and control their usage of both the main Facebook app and Instagram … The activity dashboard shows you bar-charts of the time spent in each app, along with a daily average. The daily reminder lets you choose a time-limit for each app, and be sent an alert when you hit it. You will, however, be able to dismiss the alert and continue to use the app....
