Back in the day, watching a season finale of a show was a high anxiety activity since there would be a summer-long break until the next season would start up again. These days, since we all binge-watch, we can literally finish season one of a series and start the next batch of episodes right away. When Dawson’s Creek was on the air (from 1998 until 2003), fans would tune into the season finales in late Spring (they would usually air in May) and have to bite their nails, waiting with anticipation for the following September....

Even the most popular TV shows that fans talk about years after the final episode can have some weak storylines, weak characters, and even some weak seasons. In the case of Sex and the City, which aired from 1998 until 2004, not every season was absolutely amazing. Of course, this is something that TV fans are used to, as it’s rare that every episode is going to be incredibly strong....

Following similar tests for Instagram, Facebook is slowly starting to explore the idea of hiding “Like” counts on the web and mobile. As reported by Engadget, Facebook is rolling out a change to certain users that shows who Liked or otherwise reacted to a post, but not how many reactions that post received. The change is being tested in Australia right now, but Facebook is unsure when it might expand to additional countries....
