Marvel Studios finally revealed the “Phase 4” slate for the MCU during their panel at this year’s Comic-Con, including some new characters being introduced via solo movies, a couple of unexpected turns in sequels to existing movies, and a handful of steaming series that will have direct links to the events of the movies. In fact, most of the action scenes involving the Rangers wearing their helmets is taken from the Japanese-made Super Sentai series....

2K Games have announced that they are shutting down the servers for Turtle Rock Studios’ Evolve. The first-person shooter’s dedicated servers are set to go down on September 3, 2018 on both consoles and PC. This will also mean the end for several features including the ranked online play, leaderboards, and the in-game store (so those with in-game currency will want to spend it before that date). The cooperative shooter released in February of 2015 with lofty expectations due to the developer’s previous work on the Left 4 Dead series....

Almost a year after adding Live Video to its app, Facebook has announced that it is introducing a Live Audio feature that allows live broadcasts of audio-only content. Or, as CNET wryly described it, radio. Initially, the company will be testing the feature with a small number of established broadcasters – including the BBC World Service and LBC – though publishers and authors will also be getting in on the action … Facebook says that Harper Collins, and authors Adam Grant and Brit Bennett will be taking part in the trials over the next few weeks....

The company is currently testing a couple of features that should help. The first is caching posts that have been downloaded but not yet viewed. Evernote just announced an update to its iPhone and iPad apps that brings the ability to sketch in notes, which should make many users happy as the company points out the feature is one of its most-requested (and one it’s long had on Android). Using your finger or a stylus like the Evernote edition of the Adonit Jot Script or Apple Pencil, users can now sketch inside of notes. And for users of the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus with 3D Touch, the feature will allow you to “change the line weight just by adjusting your writing pressure....

A charity auction in EVE Online has raised nearly $33,000 for Australian wildfire relief with the sale of a single ship for more than 1 million PLEX, a type of currency that can be traded for game time or other in-game benefits.
