The post also goes over some tips for keeping your data safe along with the company’s privacy principles which tout accountability and constant improvement. This month, Facebook has shared the first two major changes coming to the social media service. First, the company announced a major overhaul coming to its News Feed to create more “meaningful interaction” and less so-called “passive content....

Premiering in 1966’s Fantastic Four #52, Black Panther was the first black superhero to ever appear in mainstream comics. The cliffhanger ending of The Walking Dead midseason finale left a handful of characters in dire straits by trapping them in a cave with Alpha’s zombie horde. Throughout the episode, Carol (Melissa McBride) was determined to find Alpha’s herd of zombies, but it turned out to be in an unexpected place. The episode left viewers wondering which characters will make it out of the cave alive. In The Walking Dead season 10, episode 8, titled “The World Before,” Gamma (Thora Birch) seemingly turns on Alpha (Samantha Morton) by giving up the horde’s location to Aaron (Ross Marquand)....

According to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, there’s a good reason why Planet Hulk was adapted for Thor: Ragnarok. For years now, Marvel fans have been hoping for a new Hulk solo film to tackle one of the character’s most popular stories. After The Incredible Hulk helped launch the MCU in 2008 - back when Edward Norton played Bruce Banner - the complicated rights issues for the character have kept Marvel and Disney from following it up....

The Exorcist director William Friedkin recalls watching infamous sequel Exorcist II: The Heretic, and thinking it was the worst movie he’d ever seen. Engadget got the goods (and it sounds exactly right to us) on AppleTV, Take 3: ..the device will be based directly on the iPhone 4, meaning it will get the same internals, down to that A4 CPU and a limited amount of flash storage — 16GB to be exact — though it will be capable of full 1080p HD (!). Fox has recruited Leigh Whannell to rewrite its Escape From New York remake. The original 1981 film was directed by John Carpenter (who also cowrote the script) and took place in a version of 1997 where - following a 400% increase in crime in the U.S. - Manhattan Island has been transformed into a maximum security prison surrounded by a 50-foot wall on all sides. Kurt Russell starred in the movie as Snake Plissken, an ex-soldier turned prisoner who gets a chance to reverse his fortunes when he’s recruited to rescue the President of the United States, after Air Force One is hijacked and crash-lands in New York City....

As we reported earlier today, a huge Eufy privacy breach allowed users to view the live and recorded camera feeds of strangers. Eufy has now responded to this security breach, bizarrely attributing it to a “bug” that has since been fixed. In a thread on Twitter, Eufy wrote: The company goes on to say that all users should “unplug then reconnect” their Eufy cameras and “log out of the Eufy app and log in again....

Update: It appears that the developers are planning a Monday release because testing took a little longer than previously thought. . With each new release of an iPhone, jailbreaking becomes just one step more difficult. Throw in constant OS updates, and it’s amazing the hacker community is able to jailbreak it at all. So, it’s no surprise it has taken more than four months for an official jailbreak to be released for the iPhone 5....

Veteran Star Wars actor Ewan McGregor is just now getting a chance to talk about the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which will be streaming on Disney+. Despite a fifteen year absence, McGregor, 48, is still excited to reprise his beloved role, and has even dropped some hints about the direction the Jedi Master will take during this new adventure. McGregor first took on the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi, which at the time meant filling in the impressive wake of Sir Alec Guinness, in 1999, for Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace....

. According to a post over at Xsanity, Enterprise Mac Storage vendor Active is closing up shop. The details: Founder and former Apple Xserve and Xserve RAID head Alex Grossman departed Active one month ago. The shutdown appears to have happened very quickly. Only two weeks ago, Active trumpeted about their new mPath acceleration technology. With the notable exception of certain caped crusader, no DC hero has been portrayed more often and more distinctly in animation than Superman. Over 80 years of animated adventures, the expectations of how cartoon Superman should sound have shifted considerably. From the traditionally deep-voiced matinee hero version of the 1940s radio dramas, to the more nuanced, emotionally complex takes of the 21st century, Superman has enjoyed a remarkable evolution. Despite the bogus claims that he’s boring and old fashioned, Superman has shifted with the times, even if those shifts are sometimes subtle....

Last week, a report suggested that Apple is planning to release a “truly wireless” version of Beats Powerbeats headphones next month. Today’s release of iOS 12.2 includes imagery of the new headphones, which we now know will be called Powerbeats Pro. Hidden in iOS 12.2 are animations and images that showcase Powerbeats without any sort of connecting wire. In terms of design, they’re nearly identical to Powerbeats3, but truly wireless much like AirPods....
